This is a open and shut case. This nearly matches Tinker. Students, Black Armbands, and suspentions. The only differance is that the reason for the protest is against uniforms, not war.

My School Is Holding me aginst going to class just because, One person said i had Condoms in my bag and locker when thats a lie and the school hasnt found anything they took me out of class and held me Aginst my learning and i missed 2 Hours and 55 mins of School just because they wanted to question me when they never did they left me there and i need to go to History and Math and i missed it and now Tomarrow they wanna Hold me for the whole day and they told me i cant go to class and i missed alot of school because of Absent and i need to makeup work and they wanna question me because of one person said i had comdoms and now there calling me a ” Sexual Harrasment ” When i didnt even have Condoms in my Bag and i didnt even had Condoms.
They Have No Proof all the proof is one person who is lieing and i am Innocent and i just wanna know What i can do to fight this or what yeah .
They are treating me like a Criminal and i didnt do nothing Wrong .
Im 15 and 9th grade and North Layton Jr.High

Wow. I sure am happy for those boys–it takes guts to do what they did, and I hope they maintain that attitude throughout their lives. I, fortunately, have never had to suffer through mandatory school uniforms, but I don’t like them at all.

I love this. I graduated HS in 2001 in a small town in NC. We weren’t allowed to have unnatural hair colors.
We also weren’t allowed to wear tank tops, our “sleeves” had to be at least three fingertips wide. Our skirts and shorts had to be at least fingertip length when standing. No cutoffs, no matter the length…
I still have issues with the idea of dying my hair odd colors.
In high school it simply wasn’t allowed.
In college I couldn’t afford it.
Now I don’t want to ruin any chances of getting a job.
